Sara Flores 
(b. 1950, Tambomayo, Peru) is an artist living and working in Yarinacocha, Peru. A member of the Shipibo people of the Peruvian Amazon, she is regarded as one of the leading practitioners of kené, the intricate design system central to her culture’s cosmovision and artistic production. Flores’s recent solo exhibitions include Bakish Mai, White Cube Bermondsey, London, UK (2025); Non Nete. A Dream for an Indigenous Nation, Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI), Lima, Peru (2025); Sara Flores, White Cube, Paris, France (2023); Soi Biri, CLEARING, New York, NY (2023), among others. Manuela Moscoso is a curator, editor, and cultural strategist recognized for building institutions that expand the role of art in public life. Over two decades, she has shaped cultural infrastructures across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, developing frameworks that sustain artistic and intellectual work from diverse perspectives. Her leadership spans both major institutions and independent initiatives. She currently serves as the inaugural Executive & Artistic Director of CARA (New York) and has curated landmark projects including the 2ª Bienal das Amazônias (2025, Brazil), the Liverpool Biennial (2021), and exhibitions at Museo Tamayo (Mexico City) and CAPACETE (Rio de Janeiro). She co-founded Zarigüeya Contemporáneo (Quito) and the editorial platform Rivet, dedicated to research-driven cultural discourse. Her practice embraces transdisciplinary processes where pedagogy, performance, publishing, and collective inquiry intersect. Committed to feminist and decolonial approaches, she creates conditions in which the knowledges, experiences, and voices of the Global Majority can shape the cultural field on their own terms—grounded in collaboration, care, and long-term institutional transformation.
